Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, said in a post on X this morning: "OpenAI seems to have been hacked not long ago, which is a terrible thing. A locally executable artificial intelligence model is the only way to protect user privacy and ensure resiliency/independence. The capabilities of the new generation of smartphones and laptops are already powerful enough to fine-tune the general LLM based on the user's own data, and enhance the functionality to localize the method.
